Built in 1830, it was once the home of painter Ary Scheffer. It displays art and objects from the early to mid 19th century Romantic Movement. The ground floor of the museum is devoted to the famous French female writer George Sand and you can also visit Ary Scheffer’s art studio. Enjoy the beautiful museum garden, a peaceful haven where you can savor a cup of tea.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Closed some public holidays.
