The “Love Wall.” is an art installation by Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito and a must for lovers from all over the world, meeting in Paris, the capital of romance. The wall, located about 15 minutes from the hotel, has “I love you” written in 311 languages or dialects.

The Place du Tertre is a very touristy place, but one that evokes the time when Montmartre was the center of modern art. Picasso and many other famous artists used to live nearby. Today you can find artists there doing portraits and selling their art, plus it has a true countryside village feel.

The Parc Monceau is a gorgeous park filled with unusual art and architectural elements. Pyramids, statues of artists or antique columns merge with the vegetation in this romantic garden. A scene from the movie “Paris Je T’aime” was also shot there.

Montmartre Cemetery is one of the most romantic cemeteries in the capital, home to a large number of celebrities from the world of entertainment, most of whom lived in the Montmartre neighborhood. It’s the final resting place of Sacha Guitry, Dalida, François Truffaut, Offenbach and many others.

What’s more romantic a tour along the water? Discover Marin D’Eau Douce, a company that rents electric boats that can be piloted without a license. These can travel on the Canal Saint Martin, the Ourcq Canal and the Bassin de la Villette and rented for varying lengths of time starting from an hour.

The Moulin de la Galette only one of two windmills still present in Montmartre. It was once a famous guinguette, outdoor dance garden. While the inside can’t be visited, you can see it from the street and there is refined restaurant for those looking to relive Impressionist times in Paris.

The Opera Garnier is probably one of the most famous opera houses in the world.
The auditorium is decorated in sumptuous red velvet and a huge chandelier hangs from the ceiling painted by Chagall.
If you are interested in attending a performance (an opera, ballet, recital or concert), then book your tickets in advance directly on their website. Be sure to arrive punctually as latecomers can only enter at intermission.

The Eglise de la Sainte Trinité is a Catholic church built between 1861 and 1867. It’s one of the loveliest churches in Paris. Poke your head inside or light a candle for a loved one.

La Madeleine is both a neighborhood area and a church. The building itself looks like a classical Greek or Roman temple. Inside, this huge church is no less spectacular. The walls are adorned with wonderful artworks. It is also a very popular concert venue. Forget about time and enjoy the moment!

Built in 1830, it was once the home of painter Ary Scheffer. It displays art and objects from the early to mid 19th century Romantic Movement. The ground floor of the museum is devoted to the famous French female writer George Sand and you can also visit Ary Scheffer’s art studio. Enjoy the beautiful museum garden, a peaceful haven where you can savor a cup of tea.

A former theater, this beautiful place reveals the secrets of the best perfume maker of Grasse, the world’s capital of perfume in the South of France and illustrates the 3,000 years of perfume history.
Open from Monday to Saturday 9am to 5:30pm.
This museum was created in 1882, almost 50 years after the Tussaud Museum in London, on the initiative of Arthur Meyer and funded by a woman from Strasbourg married to an Englishman. This type of museum met the new desire of the general public to be able to identify with famous figures of their era, since photography was not yet used in the press. With his unique profile as a caricaturist, theater costume designer and sculptor, Alfred Grévin was the ideal person to give shape to the characters.

The ball is an exhibition venue dedicated to the documentary photography, video and film. It features a contemporary, rich and varied cultural programming and a nice cafe.

The 9th arrondissement is the district of Paris which houses the largest number of theaters of the capital.
The Moulin Rouge, a parisian cabaret from the late 19th-century reflective of the height of the Belle Epoque period. Considered the spiritual birthplace of the can-can dance, it offers a fantastic show which attracts visitors from around the world. If you don’t plan on attending a show, it’s still worthwhile to at least go and see the building lit up at night.

Inaugurated in 1880, this prestigious hall with its Art Nouveau façade, enhanced by mosaics and stained glass windows is considered the King of Paris Music Halls. It was here that Mistinguett had her debut in 1893 but also the first nude act in the history of the music hall in 1919. In its golden age it headlined the likes of Joséphine Baker, Maurice Chevalier, Zizi Jeanmaire and Line Renaud. Today, the legendary venue showcases big name French singers and comedians.
Le Théâtre Mogador is a Parisian music hall founded in 1919 and mainly used for operettas. In the 30s, the show of Mistinguett “ça c’est Parisien” was performed here and was a huge success.
Since 2005, it has been run by the Stage Entertainment group and headlines an eclectic programme, mainly of musicals making it a little piece of Broadway in Paris.

A great place to enjoy an evening of laughter, this friendly theater was opened at the beginning of 2006 and puts on mainly french comic plays.
Created in 1887, today this theatre is a classified historic monument. At that time, this beautiful Italian-style theatre was a cabaret which welcomed the great names of French. In the 1940s it converted into a popular cinema, but in recent years it has focused more on rock concerts.

Le Trianon is a theatre and concert hall that has had many lives since it first opened in 1895. IT was patronized by artists, dancers and singers like Mistinguett, La Goulue and dancer-contortionist Valentin le Désossé.
It is a vast and beautiful building containing a theater, ballroom, winter garden and art deco restaurant.

Nestled in the heart of Montmartre, close to the Moulin de la Galette and near the Moulin Rouge (our area), the Ciné 13 Théâtre is a creative melting pot for theater, music and dance. The room seems to have been designed for couples with its love seats! It has a special charming décor created in 1983 by actor Claude Lelouch for the shooting of the movie Edith & Marcel.
